Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be an experienced welder?
No mate. But you do need to be confident you can run a consistent weld bead before you start the build. Practice on scrap first, butt joints, T joints, until your welds are looking decent. Then you're ready. Not sure if you're there yet? Reach out and we can have a chat.
What kit do I need to buy?
The Hafco WT1D-107 from Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse — $396 AUD plus shipping. The course includes a full list of everything else you need with links to where to get it cheapest. Most of the tools you'll use on every build after this, they're a one off investment.
What if I get stuck mid build?

How long will it take?
One full day, 6 to 8 hours. Most people spread it across a weekend. Go at your own pace, stop, come back and pick up exactly where you left off.
